hello, grown-up ♡

You noticed something. That's love at work.

Maybe mornings are hard. Maybe loud rooms are too much, or sitting for a story feels impossible, or your gut simply says my kid needs a little more support than they're getting. You don't need a diagnosis — or a perfect explanation — to reach out. You just need a place that starts with understanding.

Bloom & Grow is a small, welcoming practice in Titusville, Pennsylvania where occupational therapy and creative learning grow side by side — built on trauma-informed, sensory-responsive, developmentally appropriate, play-based care.

Occupational therapy

One-on-one, play-based support for regulation, participation, everyday routines, and the skills childhood is built on. It begins with an evaluation and a conversation — never a label.

Creative enrichment

Small-group experiences like Rainbow Connections, Story & STEM, and the Kind Kids Club — where children ages 3–6 explore, build, imagine, and learn through play.

What brings families here

No diagnosis language required. Families usually arrive with everyday observations like these:

Big feelings, fast

"Small changes flip the whole day. Calming down takes a long time, for both of us."

The world feels loud

"Tags, seams, haircuts, noisy rooms, messy hands — some days everything is just too much (or not enough)."

Hard transitions

"Leaving the park, starting bathtime, getting out the door — every switch is a struggle."

Tricky hands

"Crayons, scissors, buttons, and utensils are frustrating. My child avoids drawing and dressing."

Playing alongside, not with

"Joining other kids is hard. Group settings end in tears or watching from the edge."

A gut feeling

"I can't name it exactly. I just know my child could use more support — and so could I."

Whatever brought you here, it counts. An evaluation helps determine whether occupational therapy is appropriate and what support may be helpful — for your child, and for you.

the person behind the practice

Meet Dr. Sarah Muir
